Absolutely. All our team members are qualified, insured, and experienced in plumbing and heating solutions. You’re in safe hands.

How do you charge for your services?

We aim to be fair and transparent with our pricing. In a discussion with you we will provide a quote for the work. That way, you know exactly what to expect, with no hidden surprises. If unexpected or additional work arises during the Works we will inform you as soon as is practicable and seek your instructions regarding what to do next. I bought my own taps/appliances. Will you install them?

Yes! Whether you have bought your own taps, showers, or other appliances, we’re happy to install them. If your new item has unusual fittings or requirements, we’ll find a professional solution.

What happens if unexpected problems arise during a job?

We pride ourselves on professionalism and courtesy, even when jobs get tricky. If we encounter unexpected challenges (like different-sized fittings), we’ll explain the situation and find a suitable solution promptly—always keeping you informed.

Can you help with adaptations for accessibility or older customers?

Yes. We regularly help customers who find it difficult to get behind baths or perform DIY. We’re happy to make adaptations to make your plumbing and heating safe and accessible.

Do you guarantee your work?

The team is described as highly professional, experienced, and fully qualified, with many years in the plumbing and heating trade. Mike first started plumbing in 1995 and formed as a limited company in 2011 with his business partner Matt Teague.

Can you offer advice on modernising old plumbing or heating systems?

Yes, the team is experienced in working on older properties and can advise on upgrading and modernising plumbing and heating systems .

What are your typical working hours and how can I contact you?

The company typically opens at 9 am. The best way to contact us is via our enquiry form. Yes, Mike Ruth Plumbing & Heating Ltd is fully certified, insured, and licensed to carry out gas and heating services. Gas Safe Registration No.  194112 and OFTEC Company No. 14514 We are also a member of Chartered Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineering.

Do you offer regular boiler servicing and annual safety checks?

Yes, regular boiler servicing and annual safety checks are among our core services. We also undertake Landlord Gas Safety Checks and issue the necessary certificates.
